Radon Inspection.

  • Measures radon gas levels in the home's indoor air.

  • Testing is performed in the lowest livable area using specialized equipment.

  • Detects an odorless, colorless radioactive gas that can pose serious health risks.

  • Long-term radon exposure is the second leading cause of lung cancer.

  • Especially important in Iowa, where radon levels are among the highest in the U.S.

  • Identifies whether radon levels exceed the EPA action level of 4.0 pCi/L.

  • Helps homeowners and buyers determine if radon mitigation is recommended.

  • Currently will be offered as a sublet service which would be provided by a licensed certified radon contractor we trust and can be setup for our clients to be performed alongside the home inspection.

Sewer Scope Inspection.

  • Video Inspection – Inspect the sewer line from the home to the city sewer or septic system.

  • Identify Defects – Detect cracks, breaks, root intrusion, blockages, corrosion, and offset joints.

  • Check Pipe Performance – Evaluate pipe condition, alignment, and drainage flow.

  • Document Findings – Provide clear video evidence of any defects or concerns.

  • Support Informed Decisions – Help buyers understand the sewer line's condition and anticipate potential repair costs before purchase.

Home Inspections & Pre-Listing (Seller) Inspections.

 

Pricing starts at $350.00 and is based on the home's square footage:

  • 1,000–2,000 sq. ft. — $350.00

  • 2,001–3,000 sq. ft. — $400.00

  • 3,001–4,000 sq. ft. — $450.00

  • 4,001–5,000+ sq. ft.  (Call for price)

 

Optional Add-On Services

  • Sewer Scope Inspection: $200.00 (when added on to any home inspection) 250.00 standalone.

  • Additional Detached Buildings or Garages: $50.00 each

 

Note: One attached or detached garage is included with every standard home inspection. Any additional garages or outbuildings are billed at $50.00 each.

Note: 50.00 $ travel fee is automatically applied for inspections over 50 miles from Centerville IA.
